Healing is a collaborative journey focused on understanding personal experiences within their broader social and cultural contexts, including the challenges of being Muslim in America, immigration, racism, colonialism, and intergenerational trauma. I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solution-Focused Therapy, somatic practices, and Islamic psychology to support healing and growth.
Born in Pakistan and raised in Saudi Arabia and New Orleans, I bring a cross-cultural perspective to my work. I have three decades of experience in life coaching, peer counseling, leadership training, and relationship counseling, including extensive work with men’s groups, youth, and community healing initiatives.
As a school social worker, I have supported at-risk students and enjoy working with BIPOC, immigrant, Muslim, and marginalized communities. My approach integrates creative expression, mindfulness, and Islamic teachings to support holistic well-being. I am fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.
